All wines are of good quality and may be tasted before you choose.
Please see our full Wine List for a wide range of affordable wines and
quality champagnes. Carafes of iced water can be provided on each table,
or you may wish us to

A drinks package for each stage reception, meal and toast will be
invoiced for each adult guest. Children’s soft drinks will be itemised
separately.

These charges include VAT at 17.5%. The charge is made to your invoice
and applies only to wines actually consumed on the day. Please bring
wines between 5 and 3 days before your function. The charges cover the
safe storage, chilling, breathing, serving of the wine, the provision of
glassware, replacement of breakages etc. along with a contribution
towards the overheads of running Rathcluan Hotel as Licensed Premises.

All prices are correct at time of going to press. We reserve the right
to substitute goods or amend prices of individual items or wines subject
to availability.
Terms and Conditions
MENUS:
Please select a minimum of three courses and coffee from the menus
provided. An evening buffet must be provided for every guest on the
premises. A 50% reduction applies to children under 10 years of age on
the main reception meal.
Babies in highchairs are free of charge.
BOOKINGS & DEPOSITS:
We do not accept provisional bookings; dates are either free or firmly
booked. Receipt of a £300 deposit (cheques payable
To 'Rathcluan Hotel) confirms your booking. These deposits are
non-refundable in the event of cancellation, but will be deducted from
the final invoice.
PAYMENT:
Following the deposit, a payment totaling 90% of the full cost of the
day is payable 5 weeks before the function. The final balance is payable
within 1 week of your function.
CREDIT CARDS:
We take most credit and debit cards at an additional charge to reflect
the costs involved. Details of charges are displayed at reception and
can be sent on request.
CONFIRMATION OF NUMBERS:
Menu and drinks choices need to be made four weeks before your function.
Final numbers must be confirmed 10 days in advance, any meals cancelled
after this will be charged at full price.
BAR CLOSING:
Last orders are called at 11.15pm, the bar closes at 11.30pm and the
function ends at midnight. A late license can be arranged Monday to
Saturday for an additional charge last orders 11.45pm, bar closes
midnight, function ends 12.30am.
NOISE RESTRICTIONS:
All amplified sound is subject to a house decibel limit. We reserve the
right to withdraw power supplies if this is unreasonably exceeded.
SMOKING:
Rathcluan Hotel is a no smoking venue. It may be possible to make
special arrangements for private parties, please enquire.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICES ARE:
A Master of Ceremonies; use of Scottish Deer Horn cake-knife, overnight
car parking (at owner’s risk); typed seating plan; 2 high chairs.
CANCELLATIONS:
The following costs will be payable if a booking is cancelled: any time
after booking £300 (the deposit); within 10 days, 30% of the invoice
(food and room hire).
NON-ATTENDANCE:
No allowance can be made for cancellation due to non-attendance of
Registrars, guests or members of the Bridal Party you may wish to take
out wedding insurance, especially for winter weddings.
CLOAKS, PERSONAL PROPERTY AND GIFTS:
Cloak areas are provided for the convenience of guests. Rathcluan Hotel
cannot accept any responsibility for items left in these areas or in
private cars. No liability can be accepted for property, gifts or cars
damaged or lost at the Hotel. All gifts and property must be removed on
the evening of your function. Rathcluan Hotel reserves the right to
charge any individual or group for any damage willfully caused to the
Hotel or its contents.
CATERING:
Rathcluan Hotel is not available for functions on a self-catering basis.
We recommend you book taxis and buses well in advance. A list of local
suppliers is available.
