The Rathcluan Hotel is a private, family run baronial home dating back
to 1820.it has been painstakingly restored to its former splendour, and
its traditional furnishings, roaring log fires and wonderful collection
of antiques conjure up the atmosphere of a very grand home. Your guest
will enjoy the family atmosphere and friendly service from our highly
experienced, attentive staff allowing the bridal party to relax and
treat the Rathcluan as their home.
With 17 comfortably-appointed bedrooms - With two featuring impressive
four-poster - together with excellent facilities and extensive free car
parking, Rathcluan Hotel is the perfect venue for your wedding
reception.
Most receptions involve arrival drinks in the lounge or weather
permitting on the lawn. The wedding party will then welcome their guest
to a seated meal for between 20 and 60 guests. Both hot and cold courses
served by our friendly staff. The food is of the highest quality and
menus can be tailored to suit your needs and those of your vegetarian or
special-diet guests. We have an excellent selection of wines and offer
good value drinks packages. A three course menu starts from £19.25 per
Guest and drinks package from £7.50 per head average room hire for
dining & dancing is £100.
The day-time reception blends into an enjoyable evening function with
finger buffet meals for up to 120 guests, dancing and late license
allowing your function to end at around midnight. The booking of a good
dance band, disco or ceilidh band with caller, can be left to us or
arranged by yourself.
Our experience in arranging a great variety of events, especially
weddings, allows us to advise you about such matters as etiquette,
timing, flowers and what works best for a smooth-running day. We pride
ourselves on being able to tailor every function individually to meet
the ideas and wishes of each family, or to advise on current trends.
